FUNCTIE OMSCHRIJVING

Voor onze klant, een sterke speler actief in scheepsagentuur, landlogistiek en douane, zijn we op zoek naar een gemotiveerde kaaibediende.

Sta je organisatorisch sterk? Ben je communicatief sterk? Sta je open voor wachtdiensten? Ben je in het bezit van een rijbewijs B? Spreek je goed Engels?

Als kaaibediende sta je samen met je collega's in voor de opvolging van diverse operationele activiteiten. Je coördineert de verschillende gates of terminals en werkt hierbij samen met de Foreman en havenarbeiders. Je zorgt ervoor dat jouw terminal optimaal en veilig functioneert. Je volgt alles op m.b.t. laad-en losoperaties op schepen, spoor en trucks.

Jouw takenpakket zal bestaan uit:

  • Het begeleiden van alle actoren die in het gate-proces voorbij komen
  • Operationele problemen oplossen en hierop anticiperen
  • Afhankelijk van de verwachte capaciteit een optimale bezetting van de terminal opvolgen
  • Bereid zijn om operationele verantwoordelijkheden op te nemen
  • Administratieve opvolging
  • Opvolgen activiteiten terminals en warehouses
  • Opvolgen veiligheidsvoorschriften

De mogelijke shiften zijn 06u00-14u00, 14u00-22u00 of 08u00-16u00. Heel occasioneel doe je een nacht 22u00-06u00.

PROFIEL

  • Je bent in het bezit van een bachelor diploma of je hebt reeds ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie
  • Je hebt een hele goede kennis van het Nederlands en een goede kennis van het Engels
  • Je kan met MS Office (Excel, outlook) overweg
  • Je bent hands-on, probleemoplossend ingesteld, leergierig ingesteld en wil de uitgebreide interne opleiding volgen
  • Je staat open voor werken in ploegen en af en toe een wachtdienst
  • Je beschikt over een bewijs van goed gedrag en zeden
  • Je bent in het bezit van een rijbewijs B
  • Heb je reeds ervaring en/of kennis van transportdocumenten? Dan is dit een pluspunt!
