Als metroloog elektriciteit voer je kalibraties en metingen uit aan elektrische grootheden en zorg je ervoor dat meetinstrumenten voldoen aan de hoogste kwaliteitsnormen. Je werkt met specialistische apparatuur, analyseert meetresultaten en draagt bij aan betrouwbare metrologie voor klanten in uiteenlopende sectoren. Zo help je klanten met zekerheid te meten en versterk je de positie van VSL als toonaangevend nationaal metrologisch instituut. Voor onze afdeling Elektriciteit en Tijd & Frequentie zijn we op zoek naar een: Kalibratie Engineer Elektriciteit Over de functie Jouw werkgebied Bij VSL draait alles om het beheer van standaarden voor de Nederlandse overheid, het uitvoeren van zowel fundamenteel als toegepast onderzoek in internationale samenwerkingsverbanden, en het leveren van gespecialiseerde kalibratie- en adviesdiensten aan onze klanten over de hele wereld. Je staat bij ons aan de basis van belangrijke vraagstukken zoals de energietransitie en semicon, met directe invloed op onze maatschappij. Als metroloog richt jij je op het beheren, verbeteren en mee ontwikkelen van elektrische meetstandaarden. Ook zorg je voor het opzetten en uitvoeren van elektrische precisiemetingen voor kalibraties en in het kader van onderzoeksprojecten. Je expertise komt tot uiting in: • Het vertalen van de uitdagingen van de klant naar passende technische metrologische oplossingen. • Verantwoordelijkheid nemen voor de praktische implementatie van technische oplossingen binnen onderzoeksprojecten. • Het uitvoeren van specialistische kalibraties en advieswerk, zowel in eigen labs als on-site op de locaties van onze klanten, zowel nationaal als internationaal. • Bereidheid om een aantal keer per jaar te reizen naar klante...
