OPDRACHT De kandidatencommissie heeft als opdracht (geformuleerd door de Klankbordgroep besturen) van het regiobestuur van Water Natuurlijk om een gemotiveerd advies uit te brengen aan de leden over: 1. de geschiktheid van de kandidaat-lijsttrekker(s); 2. de geschiktheid van kandidaten voor het dagelijks bestuur; 3. de geschiktheid van de overige verkiesbare kandidaten voor het algemeen bestuur en hun volgorde op de kieslijst voor de waterschapsverkiezingen 2027. Hierbij toetst de commissie de individuele kandidaten aan ¤ de criteria in het profiel voor AB-leden; ¤ tijdig lidmaatschap van minimaal één van de Partijen; ¤ indien van toepassing; het aanvullende profiel voor lijsttrekkers; ¤ indien van toepassing; de criteria in het aanvullende profiel voor DB-leden. Onderdeel hiervan is ook de zelfevaluatie integriteit. De commissie houdt tevens rekening met een diversiteit langs alle assen voor de lijst als geheel. Gelet wordt op: ¤ de kwaliteiten van de kandidaten; ¤ continuïteit én vernieuwing; ¤ spreiding over het gehele gebied van het waterschap; ¤ evenwichtige samenstelling van de lijst: gender, leeftijd, afspiegeling van de verschillende 'bloedgroepen' van Partijen, afspiegeling van de multiculturele samenleving; ¤ bij gelijke geschiktheid gaat de voorkeur uit naar jongeren, niet-autochtone Nederlanders en vrouwen. Ook houdt de commissie rekening met de teamkwaliteit van de lijst als geheel. Gelet wordt op: ¤ stevige bestuurlijke sensitiviteit en ervaring voor AB en DB; ¤ energieke en pro-actieve houding naar de media en naar de achterban; ¤ welke persoonlijkheden samen een sterk bestuurlijk team kunnen vormen; ¤ diverse expertise aanwezig; financieel, juridisch, inhoudelijk; ¤ complementariteit: de teamleden vullen elkaar aan in kwaliteiten.
