The posting

Wie wij zijn Wij zijn een kleine, gastvrije gemeente met leden uit Noardburgum en omliggende dorpen. We willen groeien in geloof en samen Jezus volgen. Elke zondag komen we samen in ons eigen kerkgebouw. Onze gemeente telt ongeveer 110 belijdende leden en 40 doopleden. De kerkenraad bestaat uit drie ouderlingen en drie diakenen. Een externe emeritus predikant zit de kerkenraadsvergaderingen voor. Vanaf december 2024 heeft onze gemeente geen eigen predikant meer. Er is een mooie vorm van onderlinge betrokkenheid door de gemeenteleden onderling. Tegelijk is dit ook een uitdaging. De gemeenteleden wonen verspreid over de dorpen die vallen binnen de gemeente Tytsjerksteradiel. Tegelijk merken we dat de gemeente vergrijst en langzaam kleiner wordt. De afgelopen jaren hebben we verschillende initiatieven genomen om het geestelijke en praktische gemeenteleven te versterken. Dat heeft geleid tot een gevoel van urgentie rondom de toekomst van onze gemeente. In 2025 is besloten om in elk geval drie jaar door te gaan als zelfstandige gemeente. De focus ligt in deze tijd op: • Het voortzetten van de zondagse erediensten • Pastorale zorg • Samenwerking met de twee andere kerken in Noardburgum (PKN en Baptisten) • Toerusting vanuit Gods Woord Voor die toerusting zoeken we nu ondersteuning door een kerkelijk werker. We zijn een gemeente waar meningsverschillen mogen bestaan en waar respect en laagdrempelig contact belangrijk zijn. We verlangen ernaar om verder te groeien in onderlinge verbondenheid en in het zichtbaar maken van het Evangelie in onze omgeving. Jouw rol Als kerkelijk werker ben je een verbinder binnen onze gemeente. Je onderhoudt contact met gemeenteleden en helpt hen groeien in geloof en betrokkenheid. Je rust gemeenteleden toe op het gebied van onderling pastoraat en organiseert bijeenkomsten. Uiteindelijk werk je eraan dat de gemeente zelf steeds sterker en zelfstandiger wordt.
