Bij Umami Catering gaan we verder dan ‘wat de pot schaft'. We streven naar een foodbeleving die een lach tovert op het gezicht van elke bezoeker.

Met zo'n 200 medewerkers staan we in heel België klaar om elke klant een smakelijke service te bieden. Een maaltijd met een lach gemaakt, wordt dan ook met een lach gesmaakt! Als cateraar bereidt Umami specifieke receptformules voor elk cateringsegment: bedrijven, scholen en zorginstellingen.

Functie

Je staat in voor het bereiden van de maaltijden (zowel ontbijten, middagmaal, avondmaal als maaltijden voor speciale gelegenheden). Zelfstandig maaltijden bereiden voor grote groepen vormt voor jou geen probleem.

Meer concreet:

  • Voorbereiden en klaarzetten van het ontbijt;
  • Bereiden van boterhammen en eenvoudige maaltijden;
  • Je bedient de kassa en staat in voor een correcte afhandeling van bestellingen;
  • Verdelen van de maaltijden over de verschillende afdelingen;
  • Meehelpen met de afwas en het opruimen;
  • Naleven van de regels inzake hygiëne en voedselveiligheid;
  • Zorgen voor netheid en orde in de keuken;
  • Goede communicatie met de bewoners en collega's.
  • Je hebt interesse in nieuwe bereidingstechnieken.
  • Je bent flexibel en bereid tot regelmatig avond- en weekendwerk.
  • Je bent plichtsbewust en respecteert gemaakte afspraken.
  • Je kent de normen aangaande de voedselveiligheid in de keuken (HACCP).
  • Je helpt mee aan het opstellen van de verschillende menu's volgens de vooropgestelde normen.
  • Je respecteert de veiligheidsnormen tijdens de werkzaamheden.
  • Je bent gastvriendelijk, klantgericht en reageert correct op vragen van de gasten.
  • Je kan samenwerken met je collega's, gasten en leveranciers.
  • Je neemt initiatief.
  • Een goede kennis van het Nederlands.
