The posting

Binnen het Multifunctioneel Centrum (MFC) van OLO-Rotonde vzw zijn we op zoek naar een kinder- en jeugdpsychiater. OLO - Rotonde vzw is een organisatie die een verscheidenheid aan diensten en activiteiten overkoepelt en waarbinnen we streven naar een optimale levenskwaliteit voor jong en oud.

Het MFC richt zich tot jongens en meisjes van 3 tot 21 jaar met een normale begaafdheid of lichte verstandelijke beperking. Vaak is er bijkomend sprake van een autismespectrumstoornis en/of ernstige gedrags- en emotionele moeilijkheden, waarbij ook een complexe of verontrustende opvoedingscontext een belangrijke rol kan spelen. We begeleiden kinderen, jongeren en hun context binnen een multidisciplinair hulpverleningstraject op maat. Binnen het MFC worden verschillende modules aangeboden, waaronder diagnostiek, behandeling, verblijf, dagbesteding en mobiele begeleiding. Als kinder- en jeugdpsychiater maak je deel uit van een multidisciplinair team dat elke dag het verschil maakt voor kinderen en jongeren met complexe zorgnoden . Je staat in voor psychiatrische opvolging en medicamenteuze ondersteuning. Daarbij kijk je verder dan de diagnose alleen en denk je vanuit een integratieve medisch-ethische benadering mee na over behandelstrategieën en ondersteuningsvormen. Vanuit jouw expertise ondersteun en versterk je teams in de omgang met complexe situaties. Je komt terecht in een geëngageerd en enthousiast team van collega kinder- en jeugdpsychiaters, met ruimte voor overleg, intervisie en verdere opleiding.

Kernopdracht

Als kinder- en jeugdpsychiater maak je integraal deel uit van het medisch team van het Multifunctioneel Centrum (MFC) van OLO -Rotonde vzw. Het medisch team bestaat momenteel uit 4 kinder- en jeugdpsychiaters en 2 verpleegkundigen, aangestuurd door een hoofdarts. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de psychiatrische zorg (opvolging van de ontwikkeling en/of medicamenteuze behandeling) van de kinderen en jongeren van de leefgroepen en/of diensten waaraan je verbonden bent. · Als kinderpsychiater neem je binnen onze organisatie voornamelijk een adviserende rol op. De inhoudelijk verantwoordelijke van het team rond de jongere behoudt de eindverantwoordelijkheid over het traject, waarbij jouw expertise een belangrijke plaats krijgt binnen het multidisciplinair overleg. In functie van een kwaliteitsvolle zorgverlening onderhoud je contacten met collega’s binnen en buiten de organisatie, alsook met externe zorgpartners. Je volgt de evoluties binnen het eigen vakgebied op om zo de specialistische zorg binnen OLO- Rotonde vzw verder te versterken binnen een collegiaal overlegmodel.
