The posting

Het kinderdagverblijf vormt een "tweede leefmilieu" voor het kind waarin de begeleid(st)er centraal staat voor de opvang en de verzorging van het kind in groepsverband en dit als aanvulling op en verbreding van het eerste leefmilieu namelijk de thuissituatie.

1. Plaats in de organisatie.

De begeleid(st)er staat onder de directe leiding van het diensthoofd dat de dagelijkse verantwoordelijkheid van het kinderdagverblijf heeft.

2. Algemene houding en kerntaken

  • Het op pedagogisch verantwoorde wijze begeleiding en leiding geven aan een groep kinderen, waarbij elk kind zich prettig en op zijn gemak voelt, het leggen van contacten met andere kinderen en volwassenen, alsook het ontwikkelen van een aantal vaardigheden.
  • Het vertalen van de visie en het waardepatroon van het kinderdagverblijf in de omgang met de kinderen.
  • Het overleggen en afstemmen met de ouders op individueel en op groepsniveau.
  • Het samenwerken met collega's in instellingsverband, vanuit een goed inzicht in het doel en het werkplan van het kinderdagverblijf.
  • Het constructief samenwerken met collega's en de leidinggevende.
  • Daarnaast heeft de begeleid(st)er een aantal organisatorische en administratieve taken. Bij deze kerntaken geldt dat het tweede milieu een aanvulling is op het eerste milieu: wat inhoudt dat de ouders en de begeleid(st)ers partners zijn. De positie en het handelen van de begeleid(st)er wordt medebepaald door het type, de visie, de grootte, het beleid en de werking van het kinderdagverblijf. Afhankelijk daarvan kunnen er accentverschillen zijn in hun taken ten opzichte van de omvang met kinderen, ouders en collega's.

De begeleid (st)er vervult een taak op verschillende niveau's namelijk:

  • Ten opzichte van de kinderen
  • Ten opzichte van de ouders
  • Ten opzichte van de collega’s
  • Ten opzichte van de verantwoordelijke
  • Ten opzichte van het werk- en leefklimaat
  • Ten opzichte van de eigen persoonlijkheid en functioneren
