Discrétion, ponctualité et fiabilité. Attitude positive et sens des responsabilités. Principales responsabilités : accueil des enfants et des parents en français et/ou en néerlandais. Soins quotidiens (repas, sieste, bain, change). Supervision des activités d’éveil et de jeu. Surveillance continue et garantie de la sécurité. Communication claire et respectueuse avec les familles (y compris les parents néerlandophones). Contribution au maintien de l’ordre, de la propreté et de l’hygiène au sein du groupe.

La principale responsabilité d'un(e) éducateur(trice) de jeunes enfants est d'assurer la santé, le bien-être et le développement des enfants de 0 à 3 ans et d'accompagner les familles dans leur éducation. Ses responsabilités comprennent l'organisation d'activités d'éveil, l'hygiène, le suivi de la santé et du développement des enfants, l'animation d'une équipe et la gestion administrative et logistique de la structure. Il/Elle est également responsable de la mise en œuvre du programme éducatif de la garderie.

Tâches principales

Soins et bien-être : assurer l’hygiène (change, alimentation, sieste), surveiller la santé des enfants, les calmer et les réconforter si nécessaire.

Développement et stimulation : Proposer et organiser des activités ludiques (jeux, chansons, histoires) pour stimuler le développement moteur, social et psychologique des enfants.

Supervision et gestion : Diriger une équipe de professionnels, assurer le bon fonctionnement de la garderie (matériel, budget, administration) et contrôler les activités pour garantir leur conformité avec le projet éducatif.

Relation avec les familles : Soutenir et conseiller les parents, établir une relation de confiance avec eux et les guider dans leur rôle parental.

Comprendre les besoins des enfants et leur stade de développement ; s’adapter aux besoins spécifiques de chaque enfant ; reconnaître les symptômes de maladie et prodiguer les premiers soins si nécessaire ; assurer les soins de santé et d’hygiène ; favoriser l’autonomie des enfants en les guidant ; proposer des activités ludiques adaptées à leurs besoins ; anticiper les accidents et ne pas mettre les enfants en danger ; communiquer avec les parents et les collègues ; respecter la confidentialité et la déontologie professionnelles.
