The posting

BuBaO De Mozaïek is een school voor buitengewoon basisonderwijs. Voor onze type 2-werking zoeken wij een enthousiaste, zorgzame en geëngageerde kinderverzorg(st)er voor 26/32 tot oktober 2027.

Onze leerlingen hebben een matige tot ernstige verstandelijke beperking. Een aantal van hen heeft bijkomende motorische, communicatieve of meervoudige beperkingen. Sommige kinderen zijn voor hun dagelijkse verzorging bijna volledig afhankelijk van anderen en communiceren voornamelijk non-verbaal.

We zoeken iemand die verder kijkt dan de beperking en die voldoening haalt uit kleine, maar betekenisvolle ontwikkelingsstappen.

Je bent geduldig, empathisch, flexibel en stressbestendig. Je kan omgaan met intensieve lichamelijke zorg en soms moeilijk verstaanbaar of uitdagend gedrag. Je beschikt over voldoende draagkracht om ook op drukke momenten rustig, professioneel en respectvol te blijven handelen.

Je werkt graag in teamverband, neemt initiatief en begrijpt dat verzorging binnen onze doelgroep veel meer is dan enkel praktische hulp: elk verzorgingsmoment is ook een kans om contact te maken, vertrouwen op te bouwen en ontwikkeling te stimuleren.

Ervaring met kinderen met een verstandelijke of meervoudige beperking is een belangrijke troef. Je bent bereid je verder te professionaliseren en beschikt over een passend bekwaamheidsbewijs voor het ambt van kinderverzorger.
