Dat kan spannend zijn. Jij stelt gerust, houdt overzicht en zorgt dat de metingen kloppen. Ondertussen draait de apparatuur en werk je nauw samen met de cardioloog en je collega's. Op de hartkatheterisatiekamer komen techniek, patiëntenzorg en snel schakelen samen. Heb jij ervaring in de hartfunctie of wil je groeien richting hartkatheterisatie? Lees dan verder. Wat ga je doen? Je werkt mee tijdens cardiologische onderzoeken en behandelingen op de hartkatheterisatiekamer. Je bereidt apparatuur voor, controleert metingen en bewaakt de patiënt tijdens de procedure. Je volgt het hartritme, let op veranderingen en geeft door wat belangrijk is. Daarbij werk je nauw samen met cardiologen, verpleegkundigen en collega-laboranten. Naast de hartkatheterisatiekamer werk je ook op de hartfunctieafdeling. Daar voer je verschillende onderzoeken uit, zoals ECG's en Fietsergometrieen. Zo blijft je werk breed en afwisselend. Je combineert technisch inzicht met aandacht voor de patiënt, juist op momenten die voor iemand spannend kunnen zijn. De afdeling heeft verschillende specialisaties, zoals cardio-implantaten, hartkatheterisatie, holteranalyse, echocardiografie en fietsergometrie.
