En denk je graag mee over de ontwikkeling van het specialisme klinische neurofysiologie? Dan is de vacature KNF-laborant echt iets voor jou! De functie Wat je als KNF-laborant doet, hoeven we jou natuurlijk niet uit te leggen… Maar misschien ben je wel nieuwsgierig naar wat het werken als KNF-laborant in Franciscus zo leuk maakt? Als KNF-laborant werk je zelfstandig aan verschillende onderzoeken, zoals zenuwechografie en kanteltesten en EEG, EMG, VEP, BAEP, SSEP, Duplex, TCD, PSG en MSLT-onderzoeken. Je assisteert de neuroloog bij EMG-onderzoeken en botox-behandelingen. Daarnaast ben je verantwoordelijk voor EEG en TCD-bewaking bij carotisendarteriëctomie. Jouw team Binnen de klinische neurofysiologie werk je met zes collega-laboranten en twee laboranten in opleiding. Het team verricht onderzoek voor de vakgroep neurologie. De afdeling Neurologie is aangesloten bij de beroepsvereniging KNF. We delen onze kennis en breiden deze graag verder uit. Je bent breed inzetbaar op de KNF-afdelingen van onze beide ziekenhuislocaties: jouw hoofdlocatie is Franciscus Vlietland in Schiedam, maar je bent ook inzetbaar op locatie Gasthuis in Rotterdam. Je werkt niet alleen op onze poliklinische afdeling Klinische Neurofysiologie, maar ook op de verpleegafdelingen, de IC en op de OK. Daarnaast hebben wij een slaap- en snurkcentrum waar wij de PSG's voor verrichten. Gelukkig ben jij flexibel en hou jij van afwisseling! Op welke dagen je werkt en en waar je werkt, overleggen we samen. Ambitie? Dan ben je bij ons aan het goede adres. Franciscus is een topklinisch opleidingsziekenhuis, wat betekent dat we veel investeren in jou en jouw ontwikkeling.
