Lid commissie Wetenschap en Maatschappijhttps://www.kno.nl/vacature-intern/lid-commissie-wetenschap-en-maatschappij/Gegenereerd op: 12-10-2026 Achtergrond De nieuwe commissie Wetenschap en Maatschappij, door het bestuur van de NVKNOingesteld, krijgt een verbindende en coördinerende rol op het gebied van wetenschap enmaatschappij. De NVKNO wordt geconfronteerd met kansen en mogelijkheden voor wetenschappelijkonderzoek en subsidies buiten hetgeen al plaatsvindt in de academische centra. Dit betreftvoornamelijk onderwerpen als zorgevaluatie en vakoverstijgende thema's zoals de 'groeneKNO' en ergonomie. Voor de uitvoering dit type wetenschappelijk onderzoek ontbreekt een duidelijkeinfrastructuur. De NVKNO ziet zichzelf in de toekomst een coördinerende rol vervullenbinnen en wenst daarvoor een commissie Wetenschap en Maatschappij op te richten. DeNVKNO wil graag de samenwerking opzoeken met academische ziekenhuizen omzorgevaluatie studies op te kunnen zetten en uit te voeren, bij voorkeur in een onderzoeknetwerkstructuur. De Commissie houdt zich bezig met drie onderdelen van wetenschappelijk onderzoek: 1)zorgevaluatie onderzoek 2) sociaal-maatschappelijke en KNO-brede vraagstukken 3)onderzoek netwerkvorming Samenstelling De commissie zal bestaan uit minimaal 4 leden van de NVKNO, waarvan één AIOS en bijvoorkeur minimaal één zeer ervaren academisch KNO-arts en één epidemioloog. Bij de samenstelling wordt gestreefd naar voldoende spreiding over de verschillendeaandachtsgebieden (aangezichtschirurgie, hoofd-halschirurgie en oncologie, laryngologie, Pagina 1 van 3 otologie, pediatrie, rhinologie, slaapgeneeskunde en vestibulologie) evenals een gespreidevertegenwoordiging vanuit verschillende academische centra en (topklinische)ziekenhuizen in verschillende delen van het land.
