Meat&More is een voedingsbedrijf uit Aalter met meer dan 30 jaar ervaring. We zijn gestart als vleesspecialist, maar intussen bieden we ook een breed assortiment van maaltijden aan. Bij Meat&More beheren we de volledige keten onder hetzelfde dak: van productieproces tot in onze winkelpunten van Buurtslagers en Bon'Ap. Onze productie- en distributieafdelingen vormen daarbij de kern van onze werking. Kom jij ons team versterken?

Aan de slag als kok industriële keuken

Vol-au-vent, tomatensoep met balletjes of het perfect gegaarde stuk rosbief: je likt er vingers en duimen bij af. En je zorgt er in deze functie voor dat anderen dat ook kunnen doen. In onze keuken produceren we bereidingen waar grootmoeders jaloers op zouden zijn, maar dan op industriële wijze in grote hoeveelheden.

  • Samen met je collega's ben je verantwoordelijk voor het goede verloop van het productieproces van de bereidingen binnen onze keuken.
  • Je voert kwaliteitscontroles uit op de producten en zorgt ervoor dat elk gerecht aan onze standaarden voldoet.
  • Hygiëne is belangrijk voor een kok. Daarom zorg je er dagelijks voor dat jouw werkwijze en de eindproducten aan alle normen voldoen.
  • Ook de veiligheidsvoorschriften leef je tot in de puntjes na. Je doet er alles aan om kwaliteit én veiligheid te garanderen.

Hierin herken je jezelf

  • Ervaring - Je hebt ervaring als kok in een grootkeuken of industriële keuken of hebt hiervoor een opleiding gevolgd. Ook ervaring in een productieomgeving? Dan heb je een streepje voor.
  • Ploegenwerk - Samen met je collega's ga je aan de slag in een wisselend 2-ploegensysteem. De vroege ploeg start om 4.30 en loopt tot 12.30 uur. De late ploeg start om 11.45 en loopt tot 20.00 uur.
  • Samenwerken - Je bent een goedlachse en enthousiaste teamplayer. Anderen helpen ligt in jouw natuur.
  • Hands-on - Je steekt graag de handen uit de mouwen en beschikt over praktisch inzicht.
  • Flexibel - Je werkt graag in team, maar kan ook zelfstandig aan de slag. Daarnaast hou je van de afwisseling tussen verschillende producten en taken.
  • Communicatief - Je bent communicatief en hebt een goede kennis van het Nederlands en/of Engels.
