Je werkt aan boord van state-of-the-art offshoreschepen die op zee op complexe projecten over de hele wereld actief zijn. Als Kraanmachinist speel je een belangrijke rol bij het waarborgen van veilige scheepsoperaties, terwijl je ervaring en competenties opbouwt. DE POSITIE Als Kraanmachinist ben je verantwoordelijk voor de veilige en efficiënte bediening van de kranen en hijsmiddelen van het schip. Je voert hijswerkzaamheden uit in lijn met projecteisen, procedures en veiligheidsvoorschriften. In nauwe samenwerking met de dekbemanning en de brug draag je bij aan de veilige uitvoering van de dagelijkse operaties. JOUW IMPACT Als Kraanmachinist draag je bij aan veilige en efficiënte operaties door proactief risico's te signaleren en hijswerkzaamheden af te stemmen met andere afdelingen. Door zorgvuldige planning, duidelijke communicatie en nauwkeurige registratie help je de naleving van veiligheids-, milieu- en wettelijke vereisten te waarborgen. Je verantwoordelijkheden zijn onder meer: - Het veilig bedienen van kranen en missieapparatuur, ook onder uitdagende omstandigheden op zee; - Het plannen en afstemmen van hijswerkzaamheden met de dekafdeling; - Het signaleren en rapporteren van operationele risico's en verbetermogelijkheden; - Het bijhouden van operationele, veiligheids- en wettelijke registraties; - Het ondersteunen van minder ervaren bemanningsleden en het bevorderen van een veilige werkomgeving aan boord.
