Bij Vanhees Metalen zoeken we een kraanmachinist. Je komt terecht in een hecht team dat letterlijk aan de knoppen zit van onze circulaire toekomst.

Wat ga je doen?

Bij Vanhees Metalen in Lommel verwerken we dagelijks tonnen oude metalen tot hoogwaardige grondstoffen voor de industrie. Als kraanmachinist zorg jij ervoor dat alles op wieltjes loopt – of beter gezegd: op klauwen.

Elke dag start met een werkoverleg in de ploeg. Daarna kruip jij in je cabine en stuur je met vaste hand je kraan aan. Soms ondersteun je de schaar, soms aan de shredder – altijd buiten, altijd belangrijk.

Concreet betekent dit:

  • Laden en lossen van metalen met een overslagkraan met klauw (joystick)
  • Klein onderhoud aan je machine: olie, netheid, check!
  • Je terrein veilig en ordelijk houden
  • Overleggen met je ploegbaas en collega’s om de planning vlot te houden

Ervaring met kraanwerk is mooi meegenomen, maar geen must. We leren je de kneepjes van het vak via onze interne opleiding met peterschap.

Waar kom je terecht?

Vanhees Metalen is een familiebedrijf met vestigingen in Lommel, Mol en Herentals. We verwerken en sorteren oude metalen tot nieuwe grondstoffen. Al meer dan 115 jaar vormen we de schakel tussen oud en nieuw.

Je werkt op onze site in Lommel, vlot bereikbaar voor wie uit de regio komt:

  • 10 min van Lommel centrum
  • 12 min van Mol centrum
  • 9 min van Balen
  • Bushalte Wezel Viaduct vlakbij (lijn 83 tussen Lommel en Mol station)
  • Hoppin/flexvervoer beschikbaar
