Geen dag is hetzelfde wanneer je als Laborant Wegenbouw aan de slag gaat. Je werkt afwisselend buiten op projecten en binnen in het laboratorium, waar je een belangrijke bijdrage levert aan de kwaliteit van wegenbouwprojecten. Een zelfstandige functie waarin je veel leert en direct resultaat ziet van jouw werk. Wat ga je doen? Als Laborant Wegenbouw zorg je ervoor dat werkzaamheden binnen de wegenbouw voldoen aan de gestelde kwaliteitseisen. Voor onze opdrachtgever voer je metingen uit op projecten waar wegen worden aangelegd of vernieuwd. Je onderzoekt onder andere asfalt, zand en funderingen en neemt monsters voor verder onderzoek. Vervolgens werk je de resultaten uit in het laboratorium en controleer je of deze voldoen aan de geldende normen en eisen. Je legt jouw bevindingen vast in duidelijke rapportages en bespreekt afwijkingen met collega's wanneer dat nodig is. Je werkt ongeveer de helft van de tijd buiten op verschillende projectlocaties en de overige tijd in het laboratorium of op kantoor. Hierdoor is geen werkdag hetzelfde en krijg je veel afwisseling in je werkzaamheden. Ervaring is niet noodzakelijk, omdat je uitgebreid wordt begeleid en opgeleid in het vak. Tijdens jouw ontwikkeling leer je steeds meer over kwaliteitscontroles, meetmethoden en asfalttechniek. Ook krijg je de mogelijkheid om aanvullende cursussen te volgen en je verder te ontwikkelen binnen de wegenbouw. Zo groei je stap voor stap uit tot een specialist die een belangrijke bijdrage levert aan veilige en duurzame infrastructuur. Jouw werkzaamheden - Uitvoeren van kwaliteitsmetingen aan asfalt, zand en funderingen op projecten; - Nemen van monsters en uitvoeren van laboratoriumproeven; - Controleren of meetresultaten voldoen aan de eisen uit het RAW-bestek; - Opstellen van duidelijke en beknopte meetrapportages; - Signaleren van afwijkingen en bespreken van bevindingen met collega’s; - Ondersteunen bij asfaltboringen met de boorwagen wanneer je hierin bent opgeleid Wat heb jij in huis?.
