Als landmeetkundige combineer je buitenwerk met slimme software. Jij zorgt dat de gegevens kloppen en onze projecten stevig starten. De functie Als landmeetkundige bij Wetering heb je een brede en afwisselende functie. Bij ons ben je niet beperkt tot één rol. Tekenen, meten en modelleren komen hier allemaal samen. Dat maakt het werk veelzijdig en uitdagend. Ongeveer de helft van je tijd werk je buiten. Je voert metingen uit op uiteenlopende locaties, van kleigroeves en steenfabrieken tot ongebaande natuurgebieden waar je soms als eerste komt. Je zet werken uit en berekent hoogtes en volumes. De andere helft werk je binnen. Daar vertaal je de gegevens naar kaarten, 3D-modellen en revisietekeningen. Met moderne software en GPS-techniek zorg je dat machinisten en collega's in het veld nauwkeurig kunnen werken. Zo leg jij de basis waarop het hele team kan bouwen. Wat je bij Wetering tegenkomt Als landmeetkundige sta je letterlijk midden in het landschap. Geen dag is hetzelfde. • De ene dag loop je door weilanden om een afgraving nauwkeurig in te meten. • De volgende dag baan je je een weg door moerassig gebied om metingen te doen voor natuurherstel. • Je staat langs de rivieren en uiterwaarden om hoogtes vast te leggen en volumes te berekenen. • Je werkt op landgoederen of cultuurtechnische projecten waar nieuwe natuur ontstaat. • Soms ondersteun je bij civiele werken, waar een brug of damwand exact moet worden uitgezet. Altijd met je apparatuur in de hand en oog voor detail. Jij legt de basis waarop de rest van het team verder kan bouwen.
