In onze unieke Spoorfabriek is geen dag hetzelfde. Er komt een melding binnen: een wissel op het Amsterdamse tramnet moet vannacht worden vervangen. Jij duikt in de tekening, selecteert de juiste materialen en last het onderdeel exact op maat. Dankzij jouw vakmanschap kan het team ’s nachts het spoor veilig herstellen. Als lasser maak jij het verschil tot op de millimeter nauwkeurig. Dit ga je doen In de spoorfabriek maken we spoorstaven, wissels en kruisingen op maat. Dat doen we voor gepland onderhoud en om storingen op de Amsterdamse trambaan snel op te lossen. We zijn de enige vervoerder in Nederland die zijn eigen spoor maakt. Daardoor kunnen we direct handelen zonder te wachten op anderen. Als er iets kapot gaat, repareren we het vaak nog dezelfde nacht zodat het de volgende dag weer veilig te gebruiken is. Met onze dag-, nacht- en wachtdiensten staan we altijd klaar wanneer dat nodig is. Je werkt in een duidelijk en voorspelbaar rooster. Elke derde week heb je een nachtdienst van 22.00 tot 06.00 uur. Daarnaast draai je eens in de negen weken een wachtdienst. In die week ben je bereikbaar voor onverwachte storingen of calamiteiten. Zo weet je precies waar je aan toe bent en help je mee om het tramnet van de stad draaiende te houden. In de lasafdeling werk je met moderne middelen. De werkplaats heeft nieuwe lasapparatuur, een goede afzuiging, bovenloopkranen en modern gereedschap. Dat maakt het mogelijk om veilig, nauwkeurig en efficiënt te werken aan onderdelen die vaak nog dezelfde dag of nacht de baan op gaan. In de praktijk houdt dit in dat je bezig bent met: Vervaardigen van onderdelen zoals hartstukken en overbrengers, met technieken als zagen, snijden, boren en lassen. Werken met moderne lasprocessen, voornamelijk MIG/MAG en beklede elektrode. Bewerken van diverse staallegeringen, zoals R200, R220, S235 en S355. Monteren van complete spoorsecties en wissels tot volledig afgestelde, direct inzetbare units. Nauwkeurig instellen van wisselbakken op basis
