Lasser TIG/MIG: wil je meer doen dan elke dag dezelfde lasnaad leggen?

In Lummen werk je 40 uur per week aan prototypes voor de automotive-industrie. Je combineert TIG- en MIG-lassen met technisch inzicht en prototypebouw. Je leest een technische tekening. Je denkt na over de constructie. Daarna bouw je het onderdeel dat op papier begon. Je krijgt bovendien ruimte om bij te leren en jezelf technisch verder te ontwikkelen.

Geen seriewerk op repeat. Jij bouwt mee aan iets dat er nog niet ligt.

Functie-inhoud Je werkt op een technische site die oplossingen ontwikkelt en produceert voor mobiliteit en energie. In Lummen ligt de focus onder meer op trekhaken en uitlaatsystemen.

Als Lasser TIG/MIG combineer je lassen, bouwen en technisch denken:

  • Je bouwt prototypes en onderdelen voor trekhaken en uitlaatsystemen. Zo help je nieuwe constructies van idee naar tastbaar onderdeel.
  • Je leest technische tekeningen en vertaalt ze naar een correcte uitvoering. Zo klopt de constructie ook buiten het papier. Met TIG en MIG maak je kwalitatieve lasverbindingen. Je werk vormt een belangrijk onderdeel van het eindresultaat.
  • Je denkt mee over hoe een onderdeel het best wordt opgebouwd en gemonteerd. Jouw technisch inzicht helpt om oplossingen werkbaar te maken.
  • Je werkt binnen een internationale technische omgeving waar kennis en ontwikkeling centraal staan.
  • Je werk is afwisselend. De ene opdracht vraagt vooral nauwkeurig laswerk. De andere vraagt meer denkwerk, montage of inzicht in een constructie.

Hier draait het dus niet alleen om een goede las. Je wilt ook begrijpen wat je aan het bouwen bent en waarom.

Je bent iemand die graag met metaal werkt én wil weten hoe een constructie in elkaar zit. Je werkt nauwkeurig, pakt zaken zelfstandig vast en zoekt naar een oplossing wanneer iets niet meteen lukt.

Je hoeft niet alles al te kennen. Wel moet je technisch sterk genoeg zijn om tekeningen te begrijpen en zelfstandig met je laswerk aan de slag te gaan.
