Je vertaalt klantwensen naar slimme 2D- en 3D-lay-outs en legt de basis voor innovatieve machines en installaties. Een veelzijdige functie waarin techniek, creativiteit en overzicht samenkomen. Wat ga je doen? Als Lay-out Engineer Machinebouw werk je aan complete productielijnen voor de voedingsmiddelenindustrie. Je vertaalt technische wensen en klantspecificaties naar duidelijke 2D- en 3D-lay-outs waarin verschillende machines en installaties samenkomen. Met CAD-software bepaal je hoe een productielijn het beste kan worden ingericht. Hierbij kijk je naar de beschikbare ruimte, veiligheid, bereikbaarheid, onderhoud en een efficiënte doorstroming van het productieproces. Je werkt nauw samen met Mechanical Engineers, Project Managers en Sales Engineers. Samen bespreek je technische mogelijkheden, los je knelpunten op en zorg je ervoor dat de uiteindelijke lay-out praktisch uitvoerbaar is. Daarnaast verwerk je wijzigingen en denk je mee over verbeteringen aan bestaande productielijnen. Zo combineer je technisch en ruimtelijk inzicht en ben je betrokken bij internationale machinebouwprojecten van eerste concept tot definitief ontwerp.
