Je komt terecht bij een gespecialiseerde speler binnen industriële automatisering, waar technische expertise en kwalitatieve projectuitvoering centraal staan. Vanuit een sterke positie in de markt realiseert deze organisatie automatiseringsoplossingen die productieomgevingen efficiënter, veiliger en betrouwbaarder maken.

Als Lead Automation Engineer neem je een centrale rol op binnen het volledige traject van automatiseringsprojecten. Je stuurt de technische uitwerking aan, begeleidt een team van ingenieurs, denkt proactief mee met klanten en collega's en bewaakt de kwaliteit van de oplossing van ontwerp tot indienstname.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Jij neemt de technische leiding over uitdagende automatiseringsprojecten en begeleidt het volledige traject van concept, engineering en programmatie tot testing, indienstname en oplevering
  • Als technisch aanspreekpunt vertaal je de behoeften van klanten naar doordachte automatiseringsoplossingen en werk je nauw samen met projectleiders, klanten en interne projectteams om elk project succesvol af te ronden
  • Dankzij jouw expertise stel je technische architecturen en oplossingsconcepten op en bewaak je de technische kwaliteit, standaarden en documentatie gedurende het volledige project
  • Naast je technische rol coach je engineers in hun dagelijkse werkzaamheden, stimuleer je kennisdeling binnen het team en draag je actief bij aan de verdere ontwikkeling van best practices en standaardisatie
  • Met een kritische en oplossingsgerichte blik voer je technische risicoanalyses uit en zorg je ervoor dat elk automatiseringsproject voldoet aan de hoogste kwaliteitsnormen
  • Je beschikt over een Bachelor- of Masterdiploma in elektromechanica, elektronica-ICT, industriële automatisering of een gelijkaardige technische richting
  • Minstens 5 jaar ervaring binnen industriële automatisering vormt de ideale basis om automatiseringsprojecten technisch aan te sturen en engineers te begeleiden
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels en weet technische informatie helder over te brengen naar zowel klanten als collega's
