Je zorgt ervoor dat ontwerpen technisch kloppen, engineers effectief samenwerken en projecten op koers blijven. Je bent betrokken bij complexe machinebouw- en engineeringprojecten en vormt de schakel tussen klant, engineeringteam en andere stakeholders. Als Lead Engineer ben jij technisch inhoudelijk verantwoordelijk voor één of meerdere engineeringprojecten. Je stuurt engineers aan, bewaakt de technische kwaliteit en zorgt ervoor dat planning en voortgang onder controle blijven. Je fungeert daarnaast als inhoudelijk aanspreekpunt voor klanten en vertaalt complexe technische vraagstukken naar praktische en maakbare oplossingen. Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit: - Technisch aansturen van engineeringprojecten en engineers ; - Bewaken van planning, kwaliteit en voortgang ; - Beoordelen en sturen van ontwerpen op hoofdlijnen; - Vertalen van complexe technische vraagstukken naar maakbare oplossingen ; - Fungeren als eerste technische aanspreekpunt voor klanten; - Coachen en begeleiden van engineers binnen het team; - Aanbrengen van structuur binnen projecten en werkprocessen; - Stellen van prioriteiten en nemen van technische beslissingen; - Signaleren van risico's en tijdig bijsturen; - Stimuleren van kennisdeling, innovatie en technische verbetering ; - Afstemmen met klanten en andere interne en externe stakeholders; - Zorgen voor een efficiënte en kwalitatief sterke projectuitvoering.
