Als Lead Engineer WTB ben jij de technische spil binnen complexe infrastructurele projecten. Jij bent verantwoordelijk voor de technische uitwerking en coördinatie van werktuigbouwkundige installaties binnen grote infra-assets. Je werkt nauw samen met projectleiders, calculatoren, werkvoorbereiders en uitvoerende teams om ervoor te zorgen dat projecten technisch optimaal worden gerealiseerd. Jouw expertise zorgt ervoor dat installaties voldoen aan de hoogste kwaliteits- en veiligheidseisen en dat ze naadloos aansluiten op de operationele wensen van opdrachtgevers. Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor technische vraagstukken en draagt actief bij aan innovatieve oplossingen die de efficiëntie en duurzaamheid van projecten vergroten. Jouw werkzaamheden omvatten: - Het technisch uitwerken en engineeren van werktuigbouwkundige installaties voor infrastructurele projecten zoals bruggen, tunnels, sluizen en keringen; - Het aansturen en coördineren van multidisciplinaire engineeringsteams en het bewaken van de technische kwaliteit; - Het vertalen van functionele eisen naar technische ontwerpen en het opstellen van technische specificaties en tekeningen; - Het adviseren van projectleiders en opdrachtgevers over technische haalbaarheid, risico's en optimalisatiemogelijkheden; - Het bewaken van de voortgang van engineeringswerkzaamheden en het signaleren van knelpunten in een vroeg stadium; - Het toepassen van innovatieve technologieën zoals 3D-modellering en Digital Twins om projecten efficiënter te maken; - Het onderhouden van contact met leveranciers, onderaannemers en externe adviseurs om technische oplossingen af te stemmen.
