In deze rol stuur je een multidisciplinair team aan en begeleid je projecten van concept tot oplevering. Je waarborgt veiligheid, kwaliteit en planning, en optimaliseert processen en technische oplossingen. Je komt terecht in een organisatie met een no-nonsense cultuur, typisch Rotterdams. Jouw taken omvatten: - Leidinggeven aan en coachen van een team mechanical engineers; - Plannen en coördineren van engineeringactiviteiten en technische studies; - Controleren van uitgevoerde engineering en technische tekeningen; - Opstellen van technische eisen en specificaties; - Beoordelen van projectrisico's en waarborgen van veiligheidsstandaarden; - Afstemmen met stakeholders, productie en projectmanagement; - Adviseren over innovatieve oplossingen en verbeteringen; - Kostenbewaking en bijdragen aan planning van projecten. Wat neem je mee als Lead Mechanical Engineer? - Hbo-diploma Werktuigbouwkunde (of vergelijkbaar); - Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in een soortgelijke rol in de industrie; - Ervaring met aansturen van een (internationaal) technisch team; - VOL-VCA of bereidheid dit te behalen; - Kennis van AutoCAD, E-plan of vergelijkbare software; - Goede beheersing van het Nederlands en Engels; - Sterk organisatorisch vermogen, proactief en innovatief ingesteld; - Affiniteit met procesoptimalisatie en industriële projecten in de haven van Rotterdam.
