Bij onze opdrachtgever krijg je de ruimte om ideeën uit te werken, samen te werken met andere specialisten en jezelf verder te ontwikkelen. Wat ga je doen? Als Lead Mechanical Engineer ben je de technische kartrekker van uitdagende machinebouwprojecten. Je bent betrokken bij het volledige proces: van het eerste ontwerp tot de bouw en oplevering van de machine. Je vertaalt de wensen van de klant naar slimme technische oplossingen en zorgt ervoor dat het ontwerp aansluit op de afgesproken eisen. Daarbij houd je rekening met de kwaliteit, planning en kosten van het project. Je werkt aan speciale machines voor verschillende sectoren, zoals de automotive-, life science-, farmaceutische, voedingsmiddelen-, verpakkings- en energiesector. Elk project vraagt om een andere aanpak. Dat maakt jouw werk afwisselend en geeft je de kans om jouw kennis van werktuigbouwkunde en machinebouw verder in te zetten. Binnen een project stuur je, afhankelijk van de omvang, een team van maximaal vijf engineers aan. Je verdeelt de werkzaamheden, bewaakt de voortgang en zorgt ervoor dat iedereen weet wat er moet gebeuren. Ook controleer je of het mechanische ontwerp voldoet aan de technische eisen en de afspraken met de klant. Als Lead Mechanical Engineer ben je daarnaast het aanspreekpunt voor technische vragen vanuit de klant en de projectleider.
