Of je nu energie haalt uit praktisch engineeren of het overzicht houden binnen complexe projecten: in deze rol als Lead Mechanical Engineer kun je beide kwijt. Over het bedrijf Onze klant is een specialist in het ontwerpen en bouwen van complexe industriële systemen. In de regio Hoeksche Waard werkt een team van circa 60 collega's aan hightech machines die hun weg vinden naar klanten in onder andere de voedingsmiddelenindustrie, automotive, logistiek en chemie. De organisatie groeit, net als de complexiteit van de projecten. Om die reden zoeken we een Lead Mechanical Engineer die graag schakelt tussen creativiteit, techniek en teamwork. Wat ga je doen? In deze rol houd jij het overzicht over het project. Je zorgt dat elk ontwerp technisch klopt én maakbaar is, van de eerste schets tot de laatste bout. Daarnaast werk je nauw samen met engineers, projectleiders, inkopers en besturingsspecialisten. Met andere woorden: je krijgt zowel veel vrijheid als verantwoordelijkheid. Je dagelijkse takenpakket bestaat uit: - Maken van de detailplanning en materialen kiezen; - Complexe technische berekeningen uitvoeren (bijvoorbeeld voor motorkeuzes); - 3D-modellen van collega's controleren, optimaliseren en verwerken; - Sensor- en besturingscomponenten afstemmen met externe partijen; - ...
