In deze rol combineer je technisch inzicht met leiderschap. Je geeft richting aan een team van mechanisch engineers en projectcoördinatoren, verdeelt taken, bewaakt deadlines en fungeert als aanspreekpunt voor technische vragen.

Je blijft hands-on: je beoordeelt en optimaliseert ontwerpen, zorgt dat concepten maakbaar zijn en begeleidt deze door het volledige productieproces. Je denkt mee op conceptniveau, ontwikkelt innovatieve machine-oplossingen en stemt nauw af met productie, collega’s en externe partners om efficiëntie en kwaliteit te waarborgen.

Daarnaast implementeer je procesverbeteringen op basis van feedback uit productie en montage en zorg je ervoor dat projecten technisch correct, gedetailleerd en praktisch uitvoerbaar zijn.

  • Diploma in mechanica, elektromechanica of gelijkwaardige ervaring.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring in mechanisch ontwerp binnen projectmatige machinebouw of productie.
  • Ervaring in leidinggeven en coachen van een technisch team.
  • Uitstekend technisch inzicht, inclusief kennis van maakprocessen zoals frezen, lassen en montage.
  • Ervaring met 3D CAD-software en parametrisch ontwerpen (bij voorkeur NX of Creo Parametric).
  • Nauwkeurig, georganiseerd en in staat overzicht te combineren met oog voor detail.
  • Hands-on mentaliteit en betrokken bij uitvoering naast leiderschap.
