Die Ars Electronica Linz GmbH & Co KG ist eine Kultur-, Bildungs- und Forschungseinrichtung der Stadt Linz. Das Unternehmen besteht aus den Kernaktivitäten Ars Electronica Center, Ars Electronica Festival, Prix Ars Electronica, Ars Electronica Futurelab, Ars Electronica Solutions und Ars Electronica Export. Insgesamt sind bei Ars Electronica mehr als 200 Mitarbeiter*innen aus aller Welt ganzjährig und eine ähnlich große Anzahl auf temporärer Basis beschäftigt.

Im Ars Electronica Futurelab suchen wir zum ehestmöglichen Eintritt 1 Lead Researcher_in aus dem Bereich:

Interactive Media Art, Technology and Design

(32-40h/Woche, unbefristete Anstellung, Dienstort Linz)

Deine Aufgaben:

In dieser Rolle bringst du neue künstlerisch-technologische Perspektiven und Fragestellungen in die Projekt- und Forschungsaktivitäten des Futurelab ein. Gemeinsam mit unserem interdisziplinären Team entwickelst du innovative, zukunftsorientierte Prototypen, die bewusst über rein screenbasierte Anwendungen hinausgehen. Du übernimmst sowohl Gestaltungs- und Entwicklungsaufgaben als auch die technische Koordination interner und externer Projekte und betreust diese über den gesamten Projektzyklus hinweg.

Dein Profil:

* Du möchtest Projekte entwickeln, die Wirkung entfalten, Menschen in Dialog bringen und gesellschaftlichen Wandel anstoßen.

* Berufliche Erfahrung in Bereichen wie AI Development, Game- und Multimedia Development, Human-Computer Interaction, Interface- oder Information Design, Robotik, Physical Computing, Medientechnik oder Virtual/Mixed Reality

* Sehr gute Programmier- und technische Umsetzungskenntnisse

* Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium in einem relevanten Fachbereich oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation

* Erfahrung im künstlerisch-explorativen Arbeiten mit neuen Technologien sowie eine Hands-on-Mentalität

* Offenheit und Interesse an interkulturellen Team- und Projektsettings

* Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse

* Projektmanagement- und Kommunikationsfähigkeiten

Gehalt:

Für diese Position bieten wir ein monatliches Bruttogehalt von € 3.598,- bis € 5.164,- auf Vollzeitbasis (40 Stunden/Woche), abhängig von Qualifikation und Berufserfahrung.
