Voor onze klant, een bedrijf dat volop groeit en sterk inzet op digitale transformatie, zijn we op zoek naar een Lead Software Engineer.

De organisatie is continu in beweging en bouwt verder aan een moderne digitale omgeving. Als Lead Software Engineer speel je een belangrijke rol in het bewaken van de kwaliteit, technische aanpak en succesvolle oplevering van softwareprojecten.

Je kent de volledige Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) en weet hoe je overzicht houdt in een omgeving waarin verschillende teams en externe leveranciers samenwerken. Je combineert technische kennis met een sterk gevoel voor kwaliteit en weet mensen en partijen op een constructieve manier op één lijn te krijgen.

  • Je beschikt over een opleiding in IT, ingenieur of een verwant vakgebied
  • Je hebt minstens 2 jaar recente ervaring met projectmanagement en coachen van een team
  • Je hebt een grondige kennis van de volledige Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Je beschikt over voldoende technische kennis van architectuur (.NET/SQL Server en/of PHP/Symfony is een pluspunt).
  • Je spreekt zeer vlot Nederlands, goed Engels en Frans is een plus.
  • Goede organisatorische vermogen en sterke communicatieskills

Taken

  • Up-to-date houden van de lokale ontwikkelbacklog en problemen of blokkades bespreekbaar maken tijdens periodieke updates.
  • Coördineren, bijsturen en uitvoeren van kwaliteitscontroles op de deliverables van externe ontwikkelaars (jij bent degene die het werk accepteert of terugstuurt).
  • Vertalen van de strategische groepsrichting naar werkbare lokale oplossingen en het helder en tijdig terugkoppelen van Belgische noden naar het centrale groepsteam.
  • Op wekelijkse basis overleggen met de lokale stakeholders, product owners en het centrale engineering chapter.
  • Toezien op de naleving van de kwaliteits- en architectuurstandaarden binnen alle softwareprojecten.
