The posting

  • Begeleiden en ondersteunen van deelnemers in hun traject binnen het Transitiehuis;
  • Je monitort het groepsgebeuren en waakt over het naleven van afspraken, regels en het huishoudelijk reglement;
  • Je zet in op de dagelijkse leef- en woonondersteuning in een herstel- en krachtgerichte woongemeenschap;
  • Je coacht de deelnemers in het opnemen van individuele en gemeenschappelijke taken van het dagelijks leven in het Transitiehuis en durft bijsturen waar nodig;
  • Je organiseert en begeleidt groepsactiviteiten zowel binnen- als buitenshuis;
  • Je zet in op gezond en creatief leven;
  • Je zet in op sociale interactie en fungeert als aanspreekpunt en mentor voor de deelnemers;
  • Je stimuleert samenwerking, zet in op de krachten van de deelnemer;
  • Je zorgt er voor dat afspraken en regels bekend zijn en gerespecteerd worden;
  • Je werkt in een flexibel uurrooster (dag- en nachturen), alsook in de weekends en op feestdagen.

Jij hebt

  • Een minimum diploma secundair onderwijs (zorgkundige, ADL-assistent, opvoeder, begeleider), of professionele bachelor in de zorg (sociaal werker, orthopedagoog, verpleegkundige, etc.) , of je kan een gelijkwaardige ervaring aantonen;
  • Ervaring met de forensische doelgroep en kent de zorg- of sociale sector;
  • Uitstekende verbale communicatievaardigheden.

Jij bent

  • Je staat sterk in je schoenen en kan professioneel omgaan met uitdagende situaties;
  • Je gelooft in herstelgericht werken, de kracht van begeleiding en ondersteuning;
  • Jij bent bereid te werken in een flexibel uurrooster (dag- en nachturen), alsook in de weekends en op feestdagen.

  • Je kan een professionele afstand bewaren op een menselijke en respectvolle manier;
  • Je werkt graag in een team, maar kan ook zelfstandig verantwoordelijkheid opnemen;
  • Je staat open voor mensen met diverse maatschappelijke en culturele achtergronden, en werkt inclusief en zonder vooroordelen;
