The posting

MFC Het Punt is op zoek naar een leefgroepbegeleider voor de instroom mogelijkheid basale werking. Onze leefgroep basale werking specifieert zich op kinderen en jongeren met een matig tot ernstig mentale beperking en kinderen en jongeren met een meervoudige beperking.

De focus in deze groep ligt op veiligheid en houvast We bieden cliënten een veilige en voorspelbare omgeving, met bijzondere aandacht voor medische zorgen en welzijn. Structuur vormt de basis van onze begeleiding. Vanuit nabijheid en zorg ondersteunen we waar nodig en nemen we taken van hun dagelijks leven over. Tegelijk stimuleren we stap voor stap de ontwikkeling van zelfredzaamheid en hebben we oog voor ieders talenten en mogelijkheden. Kernzin: "Wij dragen en sturen."

Onderstaand lichten we onze concrete verwachtingen toe op twee gebieden.

Algemeen:

  • Als leefgroepbegeleider sta je samen met je collega’s in voor de dagelijkse begeleiding van onze kinderen/jongeren;
  • De opdracht is gericht op groeps- en individuele begeleiding waarvan de belangrijkste taken zijn: het creëren van een aangenaam en aangepast leefklimaat, het organiseren en begeleiden van activiteiten, het zorgen voor een huiselijke sfeer.
  • Je verzorgt de verslaggeving en administratie;
  • Je kan je aanpak afstemmen op maat van de cliënt en op hun actuele noden;
  • 1 slapende/wakende nacht per week
  • Je maakt deel uit van de grotere groep leefgroepbegeleiders en kan flexibel inspringen waar nodig in andere groepen, ondersteunen in de dagbesteding,…

Specifiek basale werking:

  • Zorgen in al zijn aspecten. Verzorgende handelingen maar ook zorg dragen voor onze kinderen en jongeren.
  • Nabij zijn, co-regulatie
  • Structuur bieden
  • Veiligheid bieden en de-escalatie
  • Externe sturing geven
  • Voor doen, samen doen en herhaling
  • Teamconsistentie: samen in teamverband werken en afspraken consequent toepassen
