Oostrem vzw is een voorziening voor volwassenen met een verstandelijke, een motorische of een meervoudige beperking. Binnen deze doelgroepen heeft Oostrem aandacht voor de meest zorgbehoevenden. Oostrem vzw biedt woonondersteuning aan op 7 locaties en dagondersteuning op 4 locaties.

  • Binnen leefgroep het Molenhuis sta je in voor de dagelijkse begeleiding van onze 9 bewoners ( mensen met een lichte of matige verstandelijke of meervoudige beperking). Zij wonen elk in hun eigen studio. Ze kunnen volgens hun eigen wensen en noden gebruik maken van de gemeenschappelijke leefruimte en keuken.
  • We streven naar autonomie en inspraak van de bewoners rekening houdend met hun eigen draagkracht. Als leefgroepbegeleider zet je samen met ouders en vrijwilligers de bewoners op weg naar een zelfstandiger leven.
  • Als leefgroepbegeleider bied je hulp en ondersteuning op alle levensdomeinen ( vb. praktische hulp, emotionele ondersteuning, verzorgingen, voedsel bereiden,…).
  • Samen met de bewoner ga je op zoek naar interesses, krachten en waardevolle activiteiten.
  • Als leefgroepbegeleider ben je tijdens je shift alleen verantwoordelijk voor de begeleiding van de 9 bewoners.
  • Je wordt ingeschakeld in een systeem van avonddiensten, weekenddiensten en inslapende nachtdiensten. Er wordt een beurtrolsysteem gehanteerd voor het werken tijdens de weekends en op feestdagen.
  • Je beschikt over een diploma in een sociale of pedagogische richting
  • Je communiceert op een open, eerlijke en constructieve manier en zoekt verbinding met anderen.
  • Je kan zelfstandig werken, je neemt initiatief en je kan omgaan met onvoorziene situaties
  • Je kan diverse begeleidingsstijlen hanteren
  • Je handelt rustig en zelfzeker
  • Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B, zodat je ook bustoeren kan opnemen.
