Onze organisatie

Begeleidingscentrum Dennenhof is een multifunctioneel centrum vergund vanuit het Vlaams Agentschap voor Personen met een Handicap (VAPH). Ons zorgaanbod bestaat uit verblijf, dagbesteding en mobiel ambulante begeleiding. Binnen het niet rechtstreeks toegankelijke luik begeleiden we 100 kinderen en jongeren met een gedrags-, ontwikkelings-, emotionele- en/of autismespectrumstoornis. Binnen het rechtstreeks toegankelijke luik bieden we laagdrempelige mobiel en ambulante hulp op verschillende levensdomeinen voor jongere en (jong)volwassenen met (een vermoeden van) een handicap.

Leefgroep Kayo Kayo is een leefgroep voor maximum 10 schoolgaande jongens tussen 12 jaar en 18 jaar. Hier werken we specifiek met jongeren met autisme en proberen we de werking zo gestructureerd en duidelijk mogelijk te maken door te werken met visuele planningen. Er wordt gewerkt binnen een residentiële setting volgens het principe van huis in de rij. Je vertoeft binnen een huiselijke omgeving.

Jobomschrijving in een notendop

  • Instaan voor dagelijkse zorg en begeleiding van de jongeren die verblijven in de leefgroep
  • Bieden van trajecten op maat en begeleiding aangepast aan de individuele noden van de jongeren
  • Structuur bieden zodat onze jongeren stabiliteit en voorspelbaarheid ervaren
  • De rol van aandachtsopvoeder opnemen voor één of meerdere jongere(n) uit de leefgroep
  • Begeleiden van huiswerk en schoolopdrachten bij schoolgaande jongeren
  • Het organiseren van (groeps-)activiteiten en de jongeren betrekken bij huishoudelijke taken
  • Toedienen van voorgeschreven medicatie gedoseerd door de apotheker
  • Rechtstreekse communicatie met context en opvoedingsverantwoordelijke(n) vanuit de leefgroep
  • Een actieve deelname aan teamvergaderingen
  • Correcte verslaggeving van alle facetten van het hulpverleningsgebeuren

  • Bezit je een hoger diploma in een sociaal-agogische studierichting
  • Heb je een stage of werkervaring binnen leefgroepwerking achter de rug
  • Heb je affiniteit met onze doelgroep (gedrags-, ontwikkelings-, emotionele- en/of autismespectrum stoornissen)
  • Weet je hoe orthopedagogisch te handelen
  • Kan je complexe situaties inschatten, preventief werken en snel anticiperen
  • Bezit je zelfvertrouwen, flexibiliteit, doorzettingsvermogen en veerkrachtigheid
  • Kan jij je mannetje staan, grenzen stellen en heb je aandacht voor afstand-nabijheid
