The posting

VZW De Okkernoot is een erkende zorgaanbieder voor personen met een ASS en/of een verstandelijke beperking. We streven er in onze 4 vestigingen voor residentiële opvang (te Halle, Denderwindeke, Grimminge en Vollezele) én in onze bistro in Herne naar om de personen die we opvangen en begeleiden kwaliteitsvolle ondersteuning te bieden.

Momenteel zijn we op zoek naar een collega die het begeleidersteam van onze kortopvang in Vollezele komt versterken. We staan op het punt om onze organisatie uit te breiden met groep voor MFC-cliënten. Daar waar onze overige leefgroepen zich in grotere mate richten op meerderjarige cliënten zullen in deze groep minderjarigen met een verstandelijke beperking, ASS en/of gedragsproblemen opgevangen worden. Aangezien het om een opstartende werking gaat, vragen we flexibiliteit rond de invulling van het concrete takenpakket.

Wat mag je doen?

Onze begeleiders begeleiden in een voorspelbaar kader de leefgroep gedurende de dag en leiden het samenleven, de eetmomenten en de (groeps-)activiteiten in goede banen. Concreet vertaalt zich dit in onder andere de volgende taken:

  • Je begeleidt onze cliënten bij alle dagelijkse bezigheden.
  • Je biedt voorspelbaarheid en structuur via een aangepast activiteitenaanbod / zinvolle dagbesteding.
  • Je leidt de groepsmomenten / individuele activiteiten / interacties in goede banen.
  • Je vervult samen met de cliënten huishoudelijke taken.
  • Je geeft, waar nodig, ondersteuning bij de persoonlijke hygiëne van onze cliënten.

  • Je communiceert open en duidelijk.
  • Je komt afspraken na en bent standvastig en betrouwbaar.

  • Je bent fysiek in staat om een begeleidersrol op te nemen.
  • Je bent bereid tot het werken in vroeg- en laatdiensten en (ongeveer) 1 op 2 weekends.
