Wie zijn wij?

Instituut Bert Callier - Het Anker is een school voor buitengewoon secundair onderwijs voor leerlingen met een cognitieve beperking (type 2) en/of een autismespectrumstoornis (type 9). Wij zijn een kleine school waar gelijke kansen centraal staan en jongeren zich kunnen ankeren. De doelstelling van onze school is om jongeren op een warme en functionele manier voor te bereiden op integratie in een beschermd werkmilieu. Als kern van onze school betrachten we een open én verbonden klimaat, waarin jongeren zich optimaal ontpoppen tot zichzelf.

Je geeft BGV lessen in de eerste fase en zorgt ervoor dat je de doelen kan oefenen door creatief aan de slag te gaan in het creëren van oefeningen en op maat van de leerling te werken.

*Je daagt de leerlingen uit in het bereiken van kleine doelstellingen en hen te motiveren.

* Je zet in op differentiatie en remediëring, activerende werkvormen, klasmangagement en levensecht leren.

* Je kan goed om met heterogene klasgroepen.

* Je zet jouw enthousiasme over op de leerlingen.

* Je creativiteit kan je aanwenden om methodes uit te werken waardoor leerlingen tot succeservaringen komen in het uitvoeren van hun opdrachten.

* Je hebt voeling en respect voor de leefwereld van je leerlingen

* Je leert de leerlingen omgaan met hun realistisch toekomstperspectief

* Je bent sociaal geëngageerd waardoor je oog en begrip hebt voor de sociale achtergrond van de leerlingen.

*Je kan respectvol omgaan met de multiculturele doelgroep van deze school.

* Op basis van ontwikkelingsdoelen en conform aan het pedagogisch project, de toegewezen les- en schoolopdracht voorbereiden, uitvoeren, evalueren en bijsturen

De aanvangsbegeleider en leerlingenbegeleider ondersteunen je proces.

Je komt terecht in een warm kleinschalig team waar iedereen zijn eigenheid kan behouden. In een open cirkel kan gezegd worden wat er moet gezegd worden. Zo komen we samen tot inclusieve besluitvormingen. We streven naar een werking gedragen door het ganse team.
