The posting

CVO Encora maakt deel uit van Stedelijk Onderwijs Antwerpen en is het grootste centrum voor volwassenenonderwijs in de stad. We bieden een gevarieerd en kwalitatief onderwijsaanbod dat beantwoordt aan maatschappelijke en individuele noden. Cursisten volgen een opleiding om een secundair diploma te behalen en om een (nieuw) beroep te leren of om sterker te staan in hun job of op de arbeidsmarkt. Maar misschien ook gewoon om een sociale en zinvolle invulling te geven aan hun vrije tijd. Met 15.000 cursisten per jaar, 500 medewerkers en 7 locaties vormen we een uitdagende werkomgeving, waar jij een rol in kan spelen.

Wil jij volwassenen begeleiden naar hun diploma secundair onderwijs? Heb je een passie voor Engels én voor onderwijs dat kansen creëert? Dan zoeken we jou voor ons AAV-team in Encora.

Wat doe je?

  • Je geeft les in modules Engels M1+M2 in de opleiding Aanvullende Algemene Vorming (AAV). De lessen vinden plaats op donderdagnamiddag van 13.15 tot 16.45 tot eind januari 2027. In februari starten nieuwe modules op (uurrooster nog onder voorbehoud).
  • Je coacht de cursisten op vlak van attitudes, motivatie en competenties.
  • Je neemt deel aan de vakwerkgroep.
  • Je organiseert en neemt deel aan tussentijdse evaluatiemomenten en vrijstellingsproeven.
  • Je werkt actief mee aan een vernieuwende opleiding AAV, samen met een ervaren en geëngageerd team.

Er is mogelijkheid tot verlenging. Tegelijkertijd leggen we ook een werfreserve aan binnen de volledige opleiding Aanvullende Algemene Vorming. Je vindt hier het opleidingsprofiel terug.

  • Je hebt affiniteit met de doelgroep van volwassenen die een tweede kans grijpen om hun diploma secundair onderwijs te behalen. We geloven dat volwassenen succesvol leren wanneer ze zich gezien, ondersteund en uitgedaagd voelen.
  • Je staat open voor vernieuwende manieren van lesgeven en gaat graag samen met collega's de uitdaging aan om de opleiding mee vorm te geven (uitwerken cursus- en evaluatiemateriaal).
  • Je hebt voldoende digitale vaardigheden om vlot overweg te kunnen met leerplatformen en administratieve systemen.
  • Je hebt een diploma pedagogische bekwaamheid of je bent bereid om op korte termijn de lerarenopleiding te volgen.
  • Je bent in het bezit van een bekwaamheidsbewijs dat geschikt is voor het ambt van leraar secundair volwassenenonderwijs (volwassenenonderwijs). De nodige info hierover vind je op de site van Onderwijs Vlaanderen: https://data-onderwijs.vlaanderen.be/bekwaamheidsbewijzen/
