In de klas krijgen de leerlingen een rijk onderwijsaanbod aangeboden. Dit start bij onze visie op het Jonge Kind. In de onderbouw wordt een stevige basis gelegd die nodig is voor de rest van de jaren op OBS Mathenesse. Voor onze leerlingen is deze stevige basis meer dan noodzakelijk. Basisvaardigheden, burgerschap en digitale geletterdheid zijn thema's die bij ons op school een prominente plaats innemen. OBS Mathenesse weet dat kinderen het beste kunnen leren als de situatie buiten het klaslokaal ook goed is. OBS Mathenesse wil daarom een thuishaven zijn voor het gezin, een stabiel punt in de wijk waar iedereen terecht kan en een plek waar lokale initiatieven een podium krijgen. Het team van OBS Mathenesse bestaat uit bevlogen professioneels die er ten volle voor gaan om bovenstaande missie en visie uit te dragen en te bewerkstelligen. Kom werken als leerkracht op onze kleine Familieschool in Mathenesse Obs Mathenesse OBS Mathenesse droomt van een wereld waar alle kinderen, waar ze ook vandaan komen en welke taal ze ook spreken, zich goed kunnen ontplooien. OBS Mathenesse wil dat de ouders ouders kunnen zijn en kinderen kind kunnen zijn. We willen een school zijn die met de wijk en voor de wijk werkt. OBS Mathenesse is een familieschool waar goed onderwijs en een rijk aanbod aan activiteiten centraal staan. We betrekken ouders nauw bij ons onderwijs en bieden, samen met onze (wijk)partners, extra ondersteuning aan kind én gezin. De thuissituatie is enorm belangrijk. Daarom denkt OBS Mathenesse mee met de ouders met een Familie Servicepunt voor o.a. taallessen en opvoedondersteuning.
