Wil je werken in een hecht team op een echte buurtschool waar aandacht, verantwoordelijkheid en plezier centraal staan? Dan is de Marcusschool op zoek naar jou!

Over ons

De Marcusschool is een katholieke basisschool in de wijk Overvecht, Utrecht. Wij zijn een echte buurtschool die een veilige en vreedzame omgeving biedt voor kinderen. Ons onderwijs richt zich naast de basisvaardigheden ook op de sociaal-emotionele ontwikkeling

van de leerlingen. Met ons motto “Stevig de wereld in” bereiden we kinderen voor op een zelfverzekerde en verantwoordelijke deelname aan de samenleving.

Wat ga je doen?

Je start met een kleine groep leerlingen (15) met een multiculturele achtergrond. Je werkt intensief samen met twee andere leerkrachten. Je biedt een rijke taalomgeving en daagt de leerlingen uit om zoveel mogelijk taal te gebruiken. De structuur van de kleutergroepen

staat stevig, er wordt thematisch gewerkt en de leerlingen worden goed geobserveerd zodat het aanbod aansluit bij wat ze al kunnen. Bewegen, taal en spelend leren staan centraal. Er is veel ondersteuning in de school, ook van logopedie en ergotherapie. De

Marcusschool is een school in ontwikkeling. We zijn bezig om het thematisch onderwijs, naast goed onderwijs in taal en rekenen, ook vanaf groep 3 goed neer te zetten.

Wat breng je mee?

We zoeken een leerkracht die houdt van werken in een multiculturele wijk met leergierige leerlingen. Onze leerlingen hebben een goede leerkracht nodig die een warme band en hoge verwachtingen belangrijk vindt. Op onze school kan je echt iets betekenen! Je gaat

lesgeven in groep 5/6. Nieuwe leerkrachten krijgen de tijd en ruimte om de school te leren kennen.

We zoeken een collega die:

- een afgeronde PABO-opleiding heeft;

- positief is, kansen ziet en leerlingen echt iets wil leren

- planmatig en doelgericht werkt;

- een teamspeler is;

- stevig in zijn/haar schoenen staat.
