Als leerkracht in onze nieuwkomersgroep bied jij hen niet alleen onderwijs, maar vooral ook een veilige basis in een voor hen totaal nieuwe omgeving. Jij helpt hen zich stap voor stap thuis te voelen, zich te ontwikkelen in hun eigen tempo en vol vertrouwen hun plek te vinden binnen het Nederlandse onderwijssysteem. Je hebt oog voor de verschillende niveaus, tempo's en achtergronden in je groep, en je weet daar flexibel en doelgericht op in te spelen. Differentiëren zit in jouw dagelijkse handelen. Je werkt graag samen, maar bent ook zelfstandig. Met jouw oplossingsgerichtheid, heldere communicatie en gevoel voor veiligheid, structuur en vertrouwen, maak jij echt impact. Voor jezelf en voor je leerlingen. Wat ga je doen? Je geeft les aan nieuwkomers, die al één jaar nieuwkomersonderwijs gehad hebben, en zouden moeten uitstromen naar groep 8 van het reguliere basisonderwijs. Je begeleidt hen intensief bij het verder leren van de Nederlandse taal en de voorbereiding op het voortgezet onderwijs. Je creëert een veilige, voorspelbare en traumasensitieve leeromgeving waarin structuur, rust en vertrouwen centraal staan. Je sluit aan bij wat leerlingen al weten en kunnen, met oog voor hun culturele achtergrond en moedertaal. Je stemt het onderwijs zorgvuldig af op hun (taal)ontwikkeling en behoeften, en werkt hierin nauw samen met collega's, ouders en externe partners. Samen met je team bouw je aan een schoolk...
