Vacaturebeschrijving Leer het vak in de praktijk bij het Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam! Als leerling kok werk je samen met ervaren collega's en ontdek je alle kanten van het vak. Je leert, groeit en krijgt volop de ruimte om jezelf stap voor stap te ontwikkelen tot een professionele kok.

Jouw werkplek

Je komt te werken bij het Rijksmuseum, hét bekendste museum van Nederland, gelegen aan het Museumplein in Amsterdam. Vermaat verzorgt hier de horeca voor museumbezoekers in het Rijksmuseum Café en de verschillende koffiecorners verspreid door het museum. Daarnaast verzorgen we ook de banqueting voor partijen en evenementen. De locatie is goed bereikbaar met de fiets en het ov, met halte Museumplein aan de overkant. Parkeren is mogelijk in de nabijgelegen parkeergarages. Het Rijksmuseum is een culturele werkplek met veel internationale gasten en een professionele, dynamische sfeer. Je komt te werken in een hecht en gedreven team dat met passie samenwerkt en iedere dag streeft naar een bijzondere ervaring voor onze bezoekers. Samen zorgen we voor een gastvrije omgeving waarin kwaliteit, gastvrijheid en samenwerking centraal staan. Jouw functie

In jouw rol als leerling kok op deze locatie leer je in de praktijk hoe je een professionele keuken draaiende houdt. Je ondersteunt het keukenteam, werkt mee aan de voorbereidingen en zorgt dat jouw deel van de keuken netjes en georganiseerd blijft. Zo help je het team om onze gasten goed en vlot te bedienen. - Je bereidt basisgerechten en leert nieuwe kooktechnieken; - Je ondersteunt bij mise en place en dagelijkse voorbereidingen; - Je werkt volgens de HACCP-regels en houdt je werkplek schoon en overzichtelijk; - Je vult voorraden aan en signaleert wanneer iets opraakt; - Je helpt bij het opmaken van borden en het uitgeven van gerechten; - Je leert werken in het tempo van een drukke keuken.
