Wil jij het vak van timmerman leren in de praktijk? Als leerling timmerman ga je aan de slag met het maken van op maat gemaakte houten transportkisten voor machines en industriële onderdelen. Deze kisten worden wereldwijd vervoerd, binnen en buiten de EU, via vliegtuig, schip of vrachtwagen. Daarom is het belangrijk dat ze stevig en veilig worden gebouwd.

Je werkt in een eigen werkplaats, waar je stap voor stap het vak leert. In het begin werk je samen met collega’s die je begeleiden en het werk uitleggen. Naarmate je meer ervaring krijgt, ga je steeds zelfstandiger werken.

Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit:

- Helpen bij het timmeren en assembleren van houten transportkisten - Leren werken met professioneel gereedschap - Ondersteunen bij het lezen van tekeningen en maten - Orders voorbereiden en materialen klaarleggen - Inventaris bijhouden van hout, spijkers en andere materialen - Controleren of de kisten stevig en veilig zijn voor transport

Je hebt veel contact met collega’s in de loods en op kantoor, maar werkt uiteindelijk zoveel mogelijk zelfstandig aan je eigen projecten. De werktijden zijn flexibel tussen 07:00 en 18:00 uur van maandag tot en met vrijdag.

Je hoeft nog geen ervaring te hebben om de functie te kunnen uitvoeren. Motivatie om het vak te leren is het belangrijkste.

- Je wilt het timmervak leren; - Je spreekt Nederlands en/of Engels; - Je bent handig en vindt het leuk om te klussen; - Je werkt nauwkeurig en hebt oog voor kwaliteit; - Je bent leergierig en gemotiveerd; - Je woont in de regio Eindhoven, Best, Son en Breugel, Helmond of Nuenen; - Je hebt een positieve werkhouding.
