Het Sint-Franciscusinstituut in Melle is op zoek naar een enthousiaste en empathische leerlingenbegeleider (M/V/X) om ons team tijdelijk te versterken. Het betreft een voltijdse opdracht vanaf 21/10/2026 tot 18/12/2026 met mogelijkheid tot verlenging.

Als leerlingenbegeleider speel je een cruciale rol in het ondersteunen en begeleiden van onze leerlingen. Zo geven we vleugels aan de talenten van al onze leerlingen.

Ben je op zoek naar een nieuwe uitdaging in het onderwijs? Scholengroep Connected (voorheen SKOG) heeft vast wat je zoekt. Zo’n 10.000 leerlingen volgen gewoon of buitengewoon onderwijs in één van onze 11 basisscholen en 8 secundaire scholen en smeden vriendschappen voor het leven in één van onze 2 internaten. Elk van onze scholen organiseert kwaliteitsvol en innovatief onderwijs in een open, gastvrij en verbonden leer- en leefklimaat.

Scholengroep Connected ondersteunt al haar scholen en internaten opdat zij hun opvoedingsproject kunnen realiseren. We zijn een solidaire scholengroep met professionele ondersteunende diensten die schoolteams versterkt in hun complexe en evoluerende opdracht. We geloven sterk in de kracht van onze samenwerking en streven voortdurend naar verdere professionalisering.

Onze school maakt deel uit van scholengemeenschap Gensters.

Taakomschrijving

  • Je volgt vooral de leerlingen van de derde graad op, maar springt in bij de andere graden waar nodig.
  • Je volgt onze zorgleerlingen in de ruime zin van het woord op (leerproblemen, socio-economische problemen, problematische afwezigheden, …).
  • Je volgt de sanctioneringen op van leerlingen/klassen met probleemgedrag (ter ondersteuning van de klassenleraar, vakleraren en secretariaat).
  • Je hebt wekelijks overleg met de Cel leerlingbegeleiding (=directie, coördinatoren, CLB-medewerker) op donderdagvoormiddag.
  • Je hebt regelmatig contact met de ouders, en externe hulpverleners.
  • Volgens onderlinge afspraak, houd je permanentie van 8 u. tot 8.20 u.
  • Je volgt WINGS-plannen op. Deze zijn er voor leerlingen met taal- en/of leerstoornissen (bv. dyslexie) zodat deze leerlingen de kans krijgen om optimaal te presteren.
  • Je volgt GOK-leerlingen op en werkt mee aan het GOK-beleidsplan.
  • Je woont klassenraden actief bij.
