The posting

Het leersteuncentrum Oost-Brabant biedt ondersteuning aan scholen gewoon onderwijs (kleuter, lager en secundair) voor leerlingen met specifieke ondersteuningsbehoeften in de regio Oost-Brabant (Leuven, Diest, Hoegaarden, Zoutleeuw).

Als leerondersteuner ga je dagelijks aan de slag op de klasvloer in scholen gewoon onderwijs (kleuter, lager en secundair).

  • Je zoekt met leerkrachtenteams en leerlingen met specifieke ondersteuningsbehoeften naar antwoorden op leervragen zodat deze leerlingen alle kansen krijgen om volwaardig te participeren in het gewoon onderwijs.
  • Je ondersteunt mogelijk ook leerlingen met een profiel type 2 ((zeer) jonge ontwikkelingsleeftijd).
  • Dit doe je concreet door samen een plan van aanpak op te maken.
  • Je werkt aan doelen op leerling-, leerkracht- en schoolniveau.
  • Je evalueert deze cyclisch en stuurt bij waar nodig.

Je maakt als leerondersteuner deel uit van een miniteam.

  • Je ziet je miniteam wekelijks tijdens teamoverleg en gaat samen aan de slag in de scholen waar jullie leerondersteuner zijn.
  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in een relevante richting
  • Je hebt een positieve ingesteldheid, gelooft in de groeimogelijkheden van leerlingen en hebt een open blik
  • Je legt vlot contact en gaat makkelijk in verbinding met mensen
  • Je gelooft in inclusief onderwijs
  • Je bent een out-of-the-boxdenker
  • Ervaring met onze doelgroepen type basisaanbod, type 3 en/of type 9 is een grote troef. Kennis van en/of vaardigheden in het omgaan met leerlingen met een (zeer) jonge ontwikkelingsleeftijd (type 2) vormt een bijkomende meerwaarde.
  • Je bent sterk in het samenwerken met partners (leerlingen, leerkrachten, collega's, ouders, scholen, CLB's,...)
  • Je kan goed zelfstandig werken en neemt graag initiatief
  • Je kan je flexibel opstellen
  • Je neemt een actieve rol op in je eigen professionalisering en kan gemakkelijk reflecteren over jezelf
  • Je beschikt over kennis en ervaring in het (buitengewoon) onderwijs en meer specifiek in het begeleiden van leerlingen (en leerkrachten) of bent bereid deze te verwerven. Ervaring is een meerwaarde
  • Een eigen wagen ter beschikking hebben is een uitgesproken plus
  • Je woont binnen de regio van ons werkingsgebied
