The posting

Als leerondersteuner in het Specifiek Leersteuncentrum Limburg bied je leersteun aan leerlingen met specifieke onderwijsbehoeften type 4, 6 of 7 (deze vacature is specifiek gericht op een leerondersteuner voor type 6).

Deze onderwijsbehoeften vragen gerichte acties in fase 2 en 3 van het zorgcontinuüm.

De organisatie van jouw schoolbrede ondersteuning vindt plaats in functie van de totale persoonlijkheidsontwikkeling van het kind. Het kan zowel gaan om leerlinggebonden leersteun als om leersteun in de klas, naar de leerkracht en het schoolteam toe.

Je adviseert leerkrachten en teams in de ontwikkeling en toepassing van redelijke aanpassingen voor onze leerlingen.

Je neemt deel aan reflectie, intervisie en professionalisering, georganiseerd door het Specifiek Leersteuncentrum, in samenwerking met Sint-Gerardus voor type 4, Sint Elisabeth voor type 6 en KIDS voor type 7.

Je houdt voor de geboden ondersteuning de nodige administratie bij en je rapporteert aan de betrokken partijen.

Je draagt de overkoepelende visie van SLC Limburg uit.

Voor de job van leerondersteuner zoeken we mensen die voldoen aan volgend profiel en/of bereid zijn hier in te willen groeien:

• Woonachtig in Limburg – bij voorkeur woonachtig in Lommel, Pelt, Hamont-Achel, Bocholt, Bree, Peer, Oudsbergen, Kinrooi, Maaseik of Dilsen-Stokkem.

• Het is een grote meerwaarde indien je in het bezit bent van een bachelor oogzorg / bachelor orthoptie.

• Het is grote een meerwaarde wanneer je ervaring hebt met blinden en slechtzienden en/of kennis bezit over visuele aandoeningen.

• Je hebt een positieve ingesteldheid en gelooft in de groeimogelijkheden van leerlingen.

• Je bent flexibel.

• Je beschikt over reflecterende en coachende vaardigheden.

• Je bent sterk in probleemoplossend/oplossingsgericht/procesmatig handelen.

• Je bent sterk in samenwerken – teamgericht zijn.

• Je bent bereid tot leren.

• Je durft initiatief nemen en assertief zijn.

• Je kan zelfstandig werken en bezit goede communicatieve vaardigheden.

• Je bent empathisch en toont respect en begrip voor meningen, perspectieven en ideeën van alle partners rond de leerling.

• Je bent een ambassadeur van inclusief onderwijs.

• Je kan discreet omgaan met vertrouwelijke informatie.
