Wil jij juridische risico’s helder maken én een groeiende organisatie helpen om er praktisch mee om te gaan? Voor Out of Use zoeken wij een Legal & Compliance Officer die de juridische en compliancewerking verder vormgeeft. Out of Use geeft afgedankte technologie een nieuwe bestemming. Het bedrijf helpt organisaties met veilig datavernietigen, hergebruik van apparatuur en hoogwaardige recyclage. Door de groei van de organisatie nemen ook de contractuele verplichtingen en compliancevragen toe. In deze functie word je het centrale aanspreekpunt voor juridische vraagstukken en werk je nauw samen met het management en de verschillende teams.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Contracten beoordelen en begeleiden. Je stelt commerciële en operationele overeenkomsten op, beoordeelt ze en ondersteunt bij onderhandelingen. Denk aan klanten- en leverancierscontracten, raamovereenkomsten, NDA’s, algemene voorwaarden en verwerkingsovereenkomsten. Je maakt bepalingen over aansprakelijkheid, garanties en andere risico’s begrijpelijk voor de business.
  • Compliance werkbaar organiseren. Je volgt relevante wetgeving, normen en contractuele verplichtingen op en vertaalt die naar duidelijke procedures en interne afspraken. Daarbij komen onder meer GDPR, governance, interne controles, duurzaamheid, sectorgebonden regelgeving en eisen van klanten en partners aan bod.
  • Juridisch advies geven. Collega’s en management kunnen bij jou terecht met uiteenlopende vragen. Je brengt de kern van een dossier snel in kaart, geeft een concreet advies en schakelt externe specialisten in wanneer specifieke expertise nodig is.
  • Risico’s vroeg signaleren. Je kijkt naar terugkerende aandachtspunten in contracten, nieuwe samenwerkingen, internationale activiteiten, leveranciersrelaties, gegevensbescherming en interne processen. Waar nodig help je structurele oplossingen uitwerken.
  • Audits en klantvragen ondersteunen. Je helpt bij compliancevragenlijsten, due diligence, tenders, certificeringen en audits van klanten of leveranciers. Je zorgt dat de benodigde informatie correct, actueel en toegankelijk is.

Je hebt een master in de rechten of een andere relevante juridische opleiding. Bij voorkeur heb je enkele jaren ervaring in legal, compliance, contractmanagement of bedrijfsjuridische dienstverlening. Je bent vertrouwd met commerciële contracten, kent de basisprincipes van GDPR en het ondernemingsrecht, en communiceert zeer goed in het Nederlands en Engels. Je hoeft niet voor elk onderwerp zelf de specialist te zijn. Wel kun je juridische risico’s zorgvuldig inschatten, prioriteiten bepalen en complexe informatie vertalen naar keuzes waar collega’s mee verder kunnen. Je werkt zelfstandig, durft advies te geven en houdt rekening met de dagelijkse werking van het bedrijf. Ervaring in technologie, recyclage, circulaire economie, logistiek, een groeiende onderneming of een gereguleerde omgeving is een pluspunt.
