As Legal Counsel Corporate, you will advise Van Oord on corporate legal matters, corporate governance, financing and strategic transactions. At the same time, you will support the management of litigation and disputes across the group. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, our business units, and external partners. Your advice will help Van Oord make sound decisions, manage risks, and move forward with confidence. THE POSITION As Legal Counsel Corporate, you are part of the Corporate Legal team and report to the Manager Corporate Legal. You act as a business partner on corporate legal, corporate governance, M&A, financing and other strategic matters. You work closely with the headquarter departments Strategy & Markets, Treasury, and Group Finance and the Offshore Energy and Dredging & Infrastructure business units. You also work with external stakeholders such as financing banks, auditors, public authorities, and notaries. In addition, you support the coordination and oversight of Van Oord's litigation and disputes. This gives you a broad view of the organisation and the opportunity to contribute to both strategic decisions and the way Van Oord manages legal risks across the group. YOUR IMPACT You combine strong corporate legal expertise with a practical understanding of the business. You help colleagues navigate complex corporate matters and strategic transactions while ensuring that Van Oord's governance and legal structures remain sound.
