USG Professionals is op zoek naar een ervaren Legal Counsel voor een vaste functie bij een toonaangevende speler binnen de bouw- en technische projectomgeving.

Ben jij een pragmatische jurist die graag dicht bij de business staat? Krijg je energie van complexe contracten, uitdagende projecten en het adviseren van sterke operationele stakeholders? Dan is deze functie misschien iets voor jou.

Jouw uitdaging

Als Legal Counsel word je een belangrijke juridische sparringpartner voor de business en werk je nauw samen met Project Managers en andere operationele stakeholders. Je vertaalt juridische vraagstukken naar concrete, werkbare oplossingen en neemt ownership over jouw dossiers.

Je staat onder andere in voor:

  • Juridische ondersteuning bij commerciële en projectcontracten
  • Review en onderhandeling van contracten
  • Advies rond bouw- en aannemingsrecht
  • Opvolging van claims en disputes
  • Identificeren en beheersen van juridische risico's binnen projecten
  • Adviseren van Project Managers en andere business stakeholders
  • Juridische ondersteuning van verschillende businessperimeters
  • Het pragmatisch vertalen van juridisch advies naar oplossingen die de business vooruithelpen
  • Plus: Ervaring met tijdelijke maatschappen

Je bent een ervaren jurist die niet enkel vanuit een juridische bril kijkt, maar graag mee in de business stapt. Je hebt voldoende maturiteit om zelfstandig positie in te nemen en bent een stevige, constructieve gesprekspartner voor sterke persoonlijkheden.

Daarnaast:

  • Heb je idealiter 5 tot 8 jaar relevante ervaring als Legal Counsel, advocaat of in een vergelijkbare juridische functie
  • Heb je ervaring met contractenrecht, bouw- en aannemingsrecht en/of projectcontracten
  • Plus: Ervaring binnen bouw, construction, engineering, infrastructuur of een andere technische en projectgedreven omgeving
  • Kan je professioneel functioneren in zowel Nederlands als Frans
  • Ben je assertief en durf je juridisch te challengen wanneer nodig
  • Combineer je juridische expertise met een pragmatische en oplossingsgerichte mindset
  • Neem je ownership en werk je graag zelfstandig
  • Heb je ambitie om op langere termijn mee te groeien en bijkomende verantwoordelijkheden op te nemen
