Met een team van circa 80 gedreven medewerkers en een eigen onderhoudsdienst beheert Woonmeij ruim 5.300 woningen.Het actieve werkgebied ligt in de gemeenten Meierijstad en Sint-Michielsgestel, met een sterke verankering in alle lokale dorpskernen. Onder het motto 'Samen zorgen we voor prettig wonen' zet Woonmeij zich dagelijks in voor mensen die niet zelfstandig in hun woonbehoefte kunnen voorzien. Woonmeij staat dicht bij haar huurders, is laagdrempelig, aanspreekbaar en combineert een no-nonsense aanpak met een warm maatschappelijk hart.Dat deze mensgerichte koers werkt, blijkt wel uit de hoge klanttevredenheid: in de Aedes Benchmark behaalt Woonmeij een mooie A-score en de dienstverlening wordt door huurders gewaardeerd met ruim een 8. Strategische uitdagingenWoonmeij maakt de stap van een klantvriendelijke beheer- corporatie naar een ambitieuze, ontwikkelgerichte corporatie. In het Koersplan 2025-2034 staan flinke maatschappelijke en volkshuisvestelijke opgaven centraal. Nieuwbouw: Om de wachttijden op de krappe woningmarkt terug te dringen, bouwt Woonmeij de komende jaren circa 900 nieuwe woningen (waarvan 800 sociale huurwoningen en 100 woningen in het middensegment). Verduurzaming en betaalbaarheid: Woonmeij werkt toe naar een CO₂-neutrale woningvoorraad in 2050. Er wordt versneld ingezet op het isoleren en verbeteren van woningen met lagere energielabels (D, E, F en G) om de energiearmoede te beperken. Scherpe financiële keuzes: De nieuwbouwopgave heeft prioriteit. Verduurzaming wordt gefinancierd uit beschikbare eigen middelen. Externe factoren zoals stijgende bouwkosten, stijgende rentes en netcongestie vragen om scherp risicomanagement en doordachte keuzes.
