Vanuit zes vestigingen en twee aparte orthodontie-afdelingen biedt de organisatie kinder- en orthodontische mondzorg aan iedereen tot en met 27 jaar. Preventie staat daarbij voorop: de aanpak is gebaseerd op Gewoon Gaaf, een wetenschappelijk onderbouwde methode om cariës bij kinderen te voorkomen, met een nadrukkelijke rol voor ouders en verzorgers en nauwe samenwerking met basisscholen, consultatiebureaus, de GGD en gemeenten. In het Jaarplan 2026 bouwt JTZW voort op een sterk 2025 en werkt de organisatie langs drie strategische pijlers: groei en bereik, preventie, en aantrekkelijk werkgeverschap. JTZW is financieel gezond en wordt in samenwerkingsverbanden gezien als een innovatieve organisatie die nieuwe mogelijkheden durft uit te proberen. De raad van toezicht De raad van toezicht houdt toezicht op het beleid van de directeur-bestuurder en de algemene gang van zaken binnen JTZW. De raad bestaat uit vier leden en werkt met drie vaste commissies: een commissie Kwaliteit, Innovatie & Veiligheid, een remuneratiecommissie en een auditcommissie.
