De raad van toezicht vergadert minimaal zes keer per jaar en heeft een actieve rol in de governance. Voor deze vacature wordt nadrukkelijk gezocht naar kandidaten die de commissie Zorg kunnen voorzitten. Toon meer Functieomschrijving Isala is een groot regionaal topklinisch ziekenhuis en traumacentrum met twee ziekenhuislocaties (Zwolle en Meppel) en poliklinieken in Heerde, Kampen en Steenwijk. De organisatie levert zowel algemene medisch specialistische zorg als hooggespecialiseerde topklinische functies en fungeert als traumacentrum voor Zwolle en omstreken. Met ruim 7.000 medewerkers en een breed palet aan divisies en concernstaf blijft Isala inzetten op waardegedreven en toekomstbestendige zorg voor de regio. De raad van toezicht van Isala bestaat uit zes leden en heeft een actieve rol in de governance van de organisatie. De raad vergadert minimaal zes keer per jaar en werkt met themabijeenkomsten, reflectiemomenten en locatiebezoeken. Daarnaast kent de raad commissies, waaronder een auditcommissie, een commissie Zorg en een remuneratiecommissie. Leden worden benoemd voor vier jaar met de mogelijkheid tot één herbenoeming. Als lid van de raad van toezicht neem je deel aan deze bestuurlijke context en draag je bij aan het toezicht op de koers en strategie van Isala. De instelling heeft de ambitie om zorg doelmatiger en passender te organiseren, waarbij samenwerking met regionale partners, aandacht voor onderwijs en wetenschap en het investeren in medewerkers centraal staan.
